Viime keväänä olin valokuvausmatkalla Prahassa. Nousimme siskon kanssa ennen auringonnousua ottamaan valokuvia. Tällaisia kuvia sain aikaan pokkarilla...

Kesäisiä kuvia - Remembering summer
Ajattelin lisätä pari kesäistä kuvaa, kun syksy jo kovasti painaa päälle... sataa ja on niin ankeaa. Kesää muistellessa tulee hyvä mieli.
Olen tyttöjen kanssa Jyväskylässä Lehtisaaressa viettämässä aikaa. Lehtisaari on seurakunnan ylläpitämä paikka, jossa saa saunoa, uida, grillata, pelata esim. salkotennistä, soutaa, meloa kanootilla, onkia, mietiskellä, rauhoittua... ja paljon muuta. Saari sijaitsee lähellä Jyväskylän keskustaa, ja seurakunnan työntekijät hakevat halukkaat vierailijat soutuveneellä saareen. Ja kaikki tämä on täysin ilmaista! Suosittelen!
Because it's a rainy and miserable fall I think it would be good to add photos from last summer... When you are remembering summer, it'll make you to feel better.
I'm with my girls spending time in Lehtisaari. It's an island located near the center of Jyväskylä. The local parish maintains this island, and you can swimm, go to sauna, grill, play differend kind of games ( like poletennis ), row, paddle the canoe, go fishing, just relaxing... and many other things. Cause it's an island, the workers will come, and get all visitors by a rowboat to the island. And all of these are free of charge!

Keväällä olin siskoni kanssa muutaman päivän Prahassa. Kuvasimme kaunista kaupunkia. Kaikki kuvat Prahasta on otettu tavallisella digipokkarilla. Minulla ei silloin vielä ollut järkkäriä. Ihan kohtuullisia kuvia saa pokkarillakin.

Sudenkorento - Dragonfly
Kesämökillä laiturilla kiireettömästi kuvatessa voi saada kameran etsimeen vaikka jotain tällaista! Sudenkorento lenteli ympäriinsä ja laskeutui aina välillä kuvattavaksi.

Nämä on nyt virallisesti ne ekat käsinuket, jotka olen tehnyt. Mallia tihrustin tyttäreni käsinukesta. Tarkoitushan oli ommella kangasvarastoja tyhjäksi. Vaan kuinkas sitten kävikään... juuri päinvastoin. Eli kankaita on ja onhan noita nukkejakin. Ja hyvin olen niitä myynyt eri paikoissa: kirpputoreilla, kerhoissa yms. Ja hermot pysyy kurissa kun käsillä on järkevää tekemistä.
Taidot ovat ehkä jonkin verran kehittyneet vuosien varrella. Joka päivä voi oppia uutta!
These are the first handpuppets I've made. I took the pattern from my girls handpuppet. My purpose was to decrease the number of my fabrics. But what actually did happend... was just right the opposite. I have plenty of fabrics. But I have sold these puppets in several places: fleamarkets, childrens clubs etc.
My skills have improved by the years. Every day you can learn something new!

Nuken kypärä - Doll's helmet
Minä kun en suostu maksamaan maltaita, ja teen mieluummin itse... niin tässä on tulos! Olen kaivertanut styrox-levystä ensin "sopivan" kypärän nuken päähän. Olen päällystänyt sitten kypärän sopivalla kankaalla. Avainkaulanauhasta olan liimannut kypärään nauhat. Harmi vaan, kun materiaalia oli hieman hintsusti, olisi tarvinnut hieman enemmän styroxia, mutta joskus ei voi mitään! Kypärä on vähän pieni tälle nukelle, mutta ei se ole kertaakaan valittanut!

Just little bit of digging the right form, and then glueing the fabric and ribbons. And that's it! Unfortunately I had too little of styrox sheet, so the helmet is slightly too little for this doll, but she hasn't never complain about it!

Viime talvena tein tälläisia kynsikkäitä varmaan kymmenen paria. Nämä valkoiset ovat vanhemmalla tytöllä käytössä.
